Pura Soul Photography

Welcome to Pura Soul Photography.  I offer both prints for sale, and will come and shoot portraits, weddings, lifestyles, events, or pets.  I am also available to capture images for promotional purposes.  Prices vary greatly depending on location, number of shoots, quantity of prints, frames, etc...  Please contact me at (910) 231-3110 for questions.  I offer very competitive prices, and am happy to work with you.

The images on the web site are low quality, however, they can give you a very good idea of what I have to offer.  I have a portfolio of 8x10 images and am available to give a presentation if you are interested in puchasing my photos.  They are available with or without frames in a variety of sizes with prints up to 16x20.  If you visit Anntony's Caribbean Cafe in Mayfaire, the Blue Moon Shops, or Bouy 32 on Wrightsville Beach you can see many of my larger framed prints.  The selection at Anntony's is all color and the selction at Bouy 32 is all black and white.  You can also see my photos around campus on the Career Center's promotional material.  You can email me at purasoul@gmail.com or call (910) 231-3110 if you have any questions

Below is the story behind the name Pura Soul Photography:

The name Pura Soul photography has a lot of meaning for me.  It is a mix of spanish and english and embodies the spirit that I try to have at all times.  "Pura" mean "pure" and the name "pura soul" is an adaptation from the Costa Rican saying "pura vida" which directly translates to mean "pure life".  I believe the soul is an integral part of living a pure life.  Also, when pronounced "soul" sounds like the spanish word "sol" which means "light".  This is what I am capturing with my lens.
